Digital Brightlingsea is providing free advertising space across its local screen network to support the Brightlingsea Community Fantasy Football League for the 2026/27 season.
The advert is now appearing on screens around the town, including at Brightlingsea Post Office, helping more local people find out about the league and encouraging new teams to take part.
Now entering its 3rd season, the league is open to anyone with an interest in Fantasy Premier League. Entry costs £10 per team and every entry helps increase the amount raised for local community causes.
The competition is played for the Sue Walsh Community Fantasy Football Trophy, created in memory of Sue Walsh. More than £500 was raised during the first 2 seasons.
Digital Brightlingsea regularly makes space available to support local charities, voluntary groups, events and community projects. The Fantasy Football League is another good example of how a relatively simple local idea can bring people together while raising money for Brightlingsea.
Because the advert appears in busy, high dwell time locations, including the Post Office, shops, sports clubs and community venues, it gives the league visibility beyond social media and helps it reach people who may not otherwise hear about it.
Entries for the 2026/27 season are now open.
