Supporting Winterfest – Helping Brightlingsea Beat the Winter Blues!

At Digital Brightlingsea, we believe in using our screens for more than just advertising—we want them to be a tool that supports the local community and the incredible people who make this town a better place. That’s why we’re proud to be supporting Brightlingsea Winterfest this year by providing free advertising on our digital screens.

What Is Winterfest?

Winterfest is more than just a festival—it’s a movement. It was founded to help tackle depression, isolation, and mental health challenges by bringing people together through music, arts, and community events during the darkest months of the year.

Since its launch in 2015, Winterfest has raised thousands for Mid and North East Essex Mind and has now expanded to include the Winterfest Wellbeing Fund, which provides small grants to individuals and community groups in Brightlingsea. These grants have funded sports equipment, musical instruments, literacy resources, wellbeing classes, and even lifejackets for the University Sailing Club—all aimed at improving the mental, physical, and social wellbeing of local residents.

How Digital Brightlingsea Is Helping

We’re running free advertising across all nine of our digital screens in town, ensuring that as many people as possible hear about the great work being done. Our screens are located in high-traffic areas, including:
